Template Hooks On Upgrade

I have upgraded to 3.7.2 and i have 2 items in 'find updated templates'

footer & FORUMHOME

I have obviously checked out what they are

FORUMHOME
Added template hooks to the What's Going On box.

footer
Add new template hook.

but there is no post or anything that I can find to tell me what the problems are or how to correct them

please tell me, to be honest I don't even know what a template hook is, its my first upgrade and i am looking for help

When viewing the custom template you can click the [View History] link to compare the templates side-by-side to reveal specific changes in the new version.
