Ad location & different ad for each forum

Hi there,

I have found the ad location template I want for displaying an advert above the forum.

I want to have a different ad above each forum so they are relevant to the forum being viewed.

I know this can be done with conditionals and the use of the forum id but what I want to know is if this would be practical for lots of forums?

It would mean a lot of code and would this affect performance or is their a more efficient alternative?

How many forums is 'lots'? If you have 30 forums I don't see a problem, if you have 500, then I might not do it.

It wont be anymore than fifty but I could do some select ones to keep it down.
