Manully add paid subscription to members account?

Lets say I have a member that mails in a payment on their subscription. This is a new subscription - so I will not be adding time to their subscription. I know how to add time to their subscription.

How can I manually add the subscription to their account?

Right now I have to keep track of all the mailed in paid subscriptions myself, and its getting to be a real pain.

Go to the subscription manager and click 'add user' in the dropdown menu for the relevant subscription.
