Hi all, hi a vBulletin 3.71 installed on a web site , i want to change the provider that after an hack attack don't give me the previous resouces, and my forum don't work well.
Now, if i want to import all forum without lose Forum-3D-Post users etc , i don't want lost nothing , how can i do?
Only a db dump and the webservers files? Or exist some tools that allow to do this?

1) Restore your database backup on your new hosting provider.

2) Restore primary key indexes as outlined here:
http://www.vbulletin.com/docs/html/mysql_duplicatekey

3) Edit the config.php file to connect to your new database.

4) Upload all files.

5) Upload tools.php and use it to rebuild your datastore.

A 404 error means that the webserver couldn't find the page that you were looking for. You need to make sure that all the vBulletin files have been uploaded and you're trying to access them at the proper address.

A 404 error means that the webserver couldn't find the page that you were looking for. You need to make sure that all the vBulletin files have been uploaded and you're trying to access them at the proper address.

For example, if i try the access from:
www.my_new_host.com
a 404 is showed

If i try
www.my_new_host.com/forums/admincp/index.php

the admincp login page is showed, but if i put my user and password in the fields, after the page loading, a 404 error is re-showed,
the address is correct.....

If i try to access in my home page this is showed:
Invalid forum path specified! Please edit this file and be sure to include the correct path for your $forumpath variable.

What can i edit for solve this problem?

How can i do?

If i try to loggin in my admincp , this is showed (the login admincp window is showed before):
404 Not Found

The server can not find the requested page:
67.***.***.160/~mynick/forums/login.php?do=login (port 80) Please forward this error screen to mysite's WebMaster (devnull@sourcedns.com?subject=Error%20message%20% 5B404%5D%20404%20Not%20Found%20for%2067.225.157.16 0/%7Erick79/forums/login.php?do=login%20port%2080%20on%20Friday,%2004-Jul-2008%2013:09:42%20EDT).

This may be due to mod_security. Please see this thread for the fix:

http://www.vbulletin.com/go/modsecurity

Thanks for the reply, i've added this code :
<IfModule mod_security.c>
SecFilterEngine Off
SecFilterScanPOST Off
</IfModule>and i've replaced the SEO .htaccess inside the forum root , but the problem is sgain here, a 404 not found:
404 Not Found

The server can not find the requested page: myserver's_ip/forums/index.php? (port 80) Please forward this error screen to myserver's_ip WebMaster.
Or a 500 internal server error if i try www.myserver's_ip.com/~my_nick/forums/index.php (http://www.myserver%27s_ip.com/%7Emy_nick/forums/index.php)

Why this? and how can i do?

Internal Server errors are generally related to either a server problem, or added code to the vB files and/or templates.

To troubleshoot this, first reupload all the original vB non-image files (except install.php). Make sure you upload these in ASCII format and overwrite the ones on the server. Also be sure to upload the admincp files to whichever directory you have set in your config.php file. Then run 'Suspect File Versions' in Diagnostics to make sure you have all the original files for your version and that none show 'File does not contain expected contents':

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Diagnostics -> Suspect File Versions

[Note: In some cases you may also need to remove any of the listed .xml files in the includes/xml directory.]

Next, disable all plugins.

Note: To temporarily disable the plugin system, edit config.php and add this line right under <?php

define('DISABLE_HOOKS', true);

Then if you still have this problem, create a new style and choose no parent style. This will force it to use the default templates. Finally empty your browser cache, close all browser windows then try again. Make sure you change to the new style and view your forums with it. Do you have the same problem?

I'm to proceed in this mode:
1)Uninstall Seo
2)Re-Upload all non image of vb
3) disable all the plugins from config.php file
4)Remove all seo files from the webserver
5)Create a new no parent style
6)Make a new Dump
7)Restore the last dump in the new DB
8)Running the tools.php
9)Try if all works

Ok?
