I installed yahoo messenger on a second computer in my house, my server is in another room. I found something strange, when I ran yahoo messenger I was unable to access my sites url or ip address for about ten minutes. At first I thought it was a fluke, but I tried it multiple times and each time it did it. Is there something with yahoo messengers port range that conflicts with my computer or something?
I am just running a basic nix box, apache, mysql, php, with a ddns client updating a ddns server. I wondered why it was doing this :confused:
