This is a bit of an ambiguous question but who has a popular vbulletin board site on an VDS hosting plan?

How many users do you have online at once? and what is your performance like?

Use search, I'm sure you can find people who are hosting on VDS, I even see people with 100 or more users on VDS/VPS, but it depends on what kind of hacks/mods you run and how optimized apache is.

It depends a lot on the VPS configurations. Guaranteed RAM is the most important factor in this case.

I had a vb forum running on VPS with 512 mb RAM. It ran reasonably okay till 200 users online.
