Ok I'm trying to upgrade the forums to 3.7
I decided to create a 3.6.8 version board and upgrading that instead of upgrading the live one. I've created the board, and just wanted to know what mysql queries I have to use to copy the tables from database1 into database2. I have like 15 extra tables in database1 vs. database2...

database1=old
database2=new

I've also used impex before but it doesn't give desirable results...

You don't install vBulletin to do this. You make a duplicate of your existing forum. You can use the server move instructions for exporting and importing databases to do this.

Then run the upgrade as normal
