Can't stay logged in

I have had complaints from a few members that they can't stay logged in, and that the forum keeps logging them out. I have 500 odd members and it's only 2 of them that have complained - but how can i fix this for them?

What do they mean exactly? It could be cookie problems, could be 'remember me' unchecked, could be timeouts.

They say that they will be replying to a post, and when they click post, it comes up and says 'log in' and then they lose the post.
