Username dropdown not there

This is most likely beyond the scope of support for here, but I'm asking just in case anyone knows the answer, or where to find the answer.

A client has a setup where those who register at his regular website are automatically registered at his vBulletin forums. The one glitch we can see is for those particular members, there is no drop-down on their user names in their posts.

The members do show up in the Member list, you can view their profile page, everything else looks fine, except for that missing drop-down.

I checked the ACP and did find that they have a totally blank profile there.

Any ideas?

That sounds like a problem with incomplete profiles. When manually inserting users you need to insert records in these three tables:

user
userfield
usertextfield

Otherwise their profiles will not be complete which will cause lots of problems.

Run this option to fix existing broken profiles:

Admin CP -> Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Fix broken user profiles
