i tried doing a bit of searching using http which is a bit of a broad term , but its where my problem lays

my question is this , if some adds a link forgets to put in a http , the link comes out as http://ausbb.com/whatever.com
ausbb.com being the url of my forum , how can i make it so that even if the http isn't included the right url (what.ever) gets put in

On the posting form there is an option called Automatically parse links in text which should be enabled by default. That will automatically hyperlink URLs starting with "www". For example:

www.apple.com

You can click on it and it uses http like a regular hyperlink.

what about for in signatures ?

That same auto-parsing option isn't there on the signature editor. You need to use the URL BB code.
