Summary: I want to give a user group the ability to add unlimited tags to any thread, while ordinary users can add up to 2 to any thread.
With the introduction of tags, I have set-up a "tag team" to be responsible for tagging all the threads on my forum.
But, there doesn't seem to be a way to let the tag team-members have the ability to add all the tags they want to threads, while still allowing "ordinary" users to only add a small number of tags to threads.
In Tagging Options, at the moment I have
Maximum Tags Applied by Thread Starter = 5 and
Maximum Tags Applied by Other Users = 0 (disabled)
In user group permissions:
Tag team
Can Tag Own Threads Yes
Can Tag Others' Threads Yes
Can Delete Tags on Own Threads Yes
Can Create Tags Yes
Registered users
Can Tag Own Threads Yes
Can Tag Others' Threads No
Can Delete Tags on Own Threads No
Can Create Tags Yes
Is there something I'm not seeing?
