Is there any way to have social group creation moderated? I would like to implement this new feature of VBulletin, but I don't want to see social groups pop-up that contain material I do not want on my forum.
If not, is there a way the user could PM me the idea and purpose of the social group, and I could create it? I would simply disallow social group creation for all and create them as they are requested.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Social Group Options -> Allow Groups Owners to Force New Group Messages into Moderation Queue -> Yes

Will this allow them to create the groups though? that's what I want to moderate..I don't want them to be able to create social groups that aren't within the scope of my forum. I can see having to delete groups that may be "adult" in content. Would rather the process could go like this:
User creates social group, before group goes "live", it must be approved, upon approval the group is created.

Oops, there is no option to moderate the creation of new social groups. Sorry for the confusion.

What I have done to overcome this is have the standard Usergroups to not be able to create new Social Groups, but one public (joinable) Usergroup that can. Members put the name of the group they want in the 'reason' box and this is approved/denied by the group leader. When they've done it, users are removed from the 'Create Social Group' Usergroup.
