We have sponsor groups and I want to allow them to edit post/threads past the forum defaults. How can I (is it possible) to allow 1 or 2 usergroups to edit their post and threads?

Simply add them to forum as a moderator, but you should edit permission settings though Forums & Moderators > Show All Moderators. You do not want them to have that much access in modcp.

Well I have over 200 members that sponsor and maybe 50 forums so I'm not sure that will be a simple way of doing it. If I'm reading that right I have to add each member....I'm hoping to add the usergroup. If I add people as mods and then their "sponsorship" expires they would still have access to the edit feature.
You would think you could make a group with the ability to edit their own post past the forum default (like a s-mod) but with restrictions.

Anyone else?
phpbb has had this for a while and I would assume vB would be way ahead. Surely there is a why to allow some usergroups to edit their post past the forum default.
