Delete as Spam & Ban, unreported!

When I select "Delete as Spam" and tick the "Ban User" option there is no moderation notification thread (or whatever the correct term is ;)) created in the Mods and admin area.

If I give an infraction, ban a user or if a post is reported it is all logged in this area but banning a user with the spam tool is not. I trust my moderators but this is a way they could ban people without it being highlighted

There also seems to be no way to switch this off if it were a concern.

There is a feature for notifications about infractions and reported posts, but I don't see any such option for banning a user. Where are you seeing this feature?

Yes that is true. i forgot I have created a custom infraction to immediately and permanently ban a user. It proved to be the most convenient way to do it and as I say above it keeps a record.
