Hello,

I have a website which is going fairly well. Now I want to implement an account system so that people can sign up and give reactions. If that goes well, I want to implement vBulletin.

But by the time I want to implement vBulletin I will already have an own account system.

Is it possible to either integrate the existing users I have by then into the vBulletin account system? Can I make an account system that easily integrates with the vBulletin account system?

Or do I need to install vBulletin right now and just disable the whole forum until I'm ready for that?

Also, is it easy to use the vBulletins account system elsewere on the website? So a sign-in, reactions posting etc with the vBulletin account system..

Any ideas welcome!

Integrating vBulletin with a non-vB member system would require a rather extensive modification of the code. Of course, we cannot provide official support for code modifications. What most people do is modify their current system to use the vB member system.

Either way the place for help with this would be over at the mod site: http://www.vbulletin.org

Once you register you can post in the Pre-Sales forum there.

What do you mean by "reactions"?
