View Full Version : Small problems after upgrade

Hey Everyone,

I just recently upgraded to 3.7 and everything went fairly smoothe except for a few things.

1. When posting a reply, or starting a new thread, the buttons above the text box move or enlarge when scrolled over.

2. Again, when replying or creating a new thread, should I click on the 'Color text' option, the box where the colors you can choose from should be comes up empty and is very small.

3. The text size option. When I click on that the sizes do show up, but the numbers (1,2,3,4,5 etc) begin to overlap one another towards the higher numbers.

4. When viewing a members profile, if someone had left them a comment/message, the text of the message does not stay within the box. It sits itself right on the top of the specific messages box.

Can anyone tell me what is needed for it to be fixed or how I should go about doing it?

Thanks in advance,

-Chris

To create a new style, click the [Add New Style] link underneath the main body of the Style Manager.

This will bring up the Add New Style interface. You then choose [No Parent Style], next view using new style and do you still get this issue.

When I view the forum that way (by clicking on that style from the admin CP), it does fix the problems. But with that style the majority of the forum is no longer skinned.

You have to systematically add edits to the newly create style and or download a copy, then rename it.

Upload the under new name and start reverting each template to see which one(s) are poblematic.

Well, I did what you said, Jose. Thank you for your help.

But, it would see with this new vbulletin version, I can no longer use my custom template. Which is really unfortunate.
