Post Edit History for Mod, SMod, Admin Groups

Hello - right now the Mod, SMod, and Admin user groups have the "Last edited by" function turned off. Is there still a way to view the post history? I tried putting the correct post number in the url, from another member's link (e.g.: https://www.my_forum/posthistory.php?p=2618664), but that did not work.

Any suggestions?

It's not so much that I want to see the "edited by" text, it's the functionality I would like to have. Especially when we need to edit member's posts.

They've discussed this somewhere around here. Right now there is no way to see the history unless you have "edited by" turned on. But I guess developers agreed to do something about it and to add this functionality to future versions.
