Hello, I think I'm going to buy an owned license for £91 within the next 48 hours. I just need a quick opinion from some people; on an honest (not biast opinion). Which would you find an overall better forum software, Vbulletin or IPB.

it would be better to read the threads started about both products comparaison instead of asking again... you will find a lot of these here..

also, how could you ask unbiassed opinions on a biassed forum ?!

They both have advantages over one another... have you tried the 24hr demo of vb? That might help you make your mind up.
