i have some RSS feeding user accounts posting articles in some forums and i want to have the posts the "bots" are making set to 0 after i have set the forum to not count post from posted articles to the user account that is doing that, or any post in that forum to not increase the post count.

i went to update counters and did the update post count tool, but the count for some of the names are still showing posts in there. how do i get it right?

Bring up the user details in AdminCP and change the Post Count field to '0'.

Request that a cron be added if not ne has by made to search when you enable post count to forum. It is most likely the same when you prune threads/posts, in that you have to run the 'Update' manual to get correct post counts towards users. You would not see to many admin using that, as members tend to get angry that post counts have decreased.

jose i dont understand what your saying. you drunk?

the update users post count is not working right if the forum is set to not have post count towards user posts. i dont care if users post counts drop, as long as they are accurate, that is all that matters....

so how do we fix this?

Drunk? No, just must of stop in mid sentence when I was answering thread. Did you disable it within subforums, if any posting are being posted.
