when I try the rss link in my site (http://www.mydomain.xx/forum/external.php?type=RSS2) the result is a blank page, why??

Do you have rss enabled? vboptions > external data provider > enable rss syndication > yes

Have you tried reuploading the external.php page?

Have you tried turning off your plugins and seeing if you still get the same blank page?
