where to install vbulletin??

sorry for sounding like a total newb.. i just purchased vbulletin about 2 hrs ago.. getting used to this software

i see ppl have /forums/ i wanted the forum in that section but i wanted to have on the index of my site.. www.website.com to look like other sections where i can place info.. then /forums for the forum area.. i installed it in both areas.. am i doing it wrong?

Upload the contents of the forums folder to a folder named forum on your server (Create it). To have your main home page fit in with your forum, try using www.vbadvanced.com (http://www.vbadvanced.com)

i'm confused .. you want me to move the contents of the folder? i installed vbulletin twice. once on the www.mysite.com and in www.mysite.com/forums/

i'm looking to achieve something like vbadvanced. so do i install it on www.mysite.com or mysite.com/forums/ ?
