Transfer to a new server

I am transfering my site to another server, i restored all the tables of the DB execept the attachment it was 2 GB.. the problem is tha i can't upload this on server like the others i dont know it goes til 40 or 50% and then it gives me errorr i try with filezilla cute ftp ws ftp but the same:( so i want to say is there a possibility to restore it from the pc so i can give the SSh command like it is in a really server?? whitch command i must give

Try extracting the files and just uploading them all. That works better for me rather than uploading them all in one package. Or maybe you can WinRAR them, and then rar -x filename.rar on the server (requires winrar on server)

Not sure I follow your post..... how are you trying to restore your database through FTP ?

for file transfers, I use smartftp (www.smartftp.com)
