Hey guys. I am making a forum companion site to go along with my friends image gallery site. Originally, we wanted them to look similar, but he is using low resolution images in his layout due to low bandwidth. I have a bit more than him, so I thought I'd perk up the layout a bit for my side of things. Things are going well, but I am unsure what to do with the 'content' area. You'll see what I mean in a minute. Below are the two sites. The first one is his, the second is mine. Right now, mine uses a color scheme similar to his for the main content, but I am not sure it truly fits in the style I've designed. Should I forego his scheme and complete my style using whatever I see fit, or continue to keep his content style? Opinions?
