Here's an example of what I'm trying to accomplish:

http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/index.php

This design was an enhancement for search engine optimization I was told and increases the forum topic headings along with thread titles and the main forum description to a size 7 font.

Was told it's a simple tweak but can't seem to find it.

I posted this in the forum which coordinates with the current copy of Vbulletin software my site is on.....but my intentions are to soon upload 3.7.0 Candidate 4.

I figure this change will make it through the upgrade, if not I'll still be able to figure out what needs to be done to accomplish the task.

Please move this topic if it wasn't in the appropriate forum category.

I am not sure I understand the question.

The most important thing for SEO is your forum content. The meta data like the page description and title isn't as important.

hacked the code manually to put those H1 tags at the top of each page

Its part of standard search engine optimization steps for vbulletin forums

Thanks for responding to my questions.

The above quoted text was from a administrator who was able to put that large text thread titles/forum name on their site.

When they mentioned SEO, that's why I named this thread relevant to that since it was mentioned by the fellow who did that task.

So excluding the SEO reference, is there an outlined step to produce this type of enlargement of the titles?

His statement was that it was done a long time ago and it wasn't something readily available to him to give me input.

It's being done mainly as a personal preference.
