I have no experience with AMD, nor Intel processors. My current PC has a 733MHZ Intel Celeron processor
Which one do you advise me to have? and why?
A laptop with:
1- 1.9 GHz AMD Turion 64 X2 Dual-Core 1MB L Cache 2 + Memory of 2048 MB
2- Intel Core Duo processor T2450 2.0 GHz / 2 MB cache + Memory of 1024 MB
or
3- Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5300 1.73 GHz/ 2 MB cache + Memory of 2048 MB
Edit:
Intel Core Duo vs. Intel Core 2 Duo, which one?

Why do you recommend Centrino 2 over Core 2 duo?

AMD cannot and has never compared, it's not even a question. They have consistently been behind on processors, thats why on all those pc deals of a great price they are offering AMD cuz it's not as good.

That is quite an arguable statement.

Core 2 Duo's fall under the Centrino Brand (not the Centrino 2 brand) and is classified under the Santa Rosa platform generation.
Centrino 2 falls under the Montevina platform generation. It's the latest one, and should offer increased FSB and utilizes less power.

What do you plan on doing with this laptop?
Business or gaming?
If you are planing a gaming laptop, then I would go with AMD
If you are planning a business, then I would go with Intel
