View Full Version : Post time problem , only in one topic

I'm not even sure how to explain this.
Here is a picture of the posts and times
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/bustedshocks/vbtime.jpg
My "admin" posts are made after the post by "blackpearl" but his post continues to stay at the bottom. His post also says "8:08pm" But it's not "8:08pm" yet though. That post was probaly made 2 hours ago maybe.
Also it shows the posts as say post number 10 , when I post it makes the blackpearl post 11 so my new post becomes 10.
And this topic is staying near the top of the forum ...as if it has the latest post made. This is only happening in this topic. Even though people are posting in other topics they don't go above this one.
It is not stickied.
What do you think?
Thanks

Which modifications do you have installed? Any that are being used in that thread but not others? (For instance, I have an email obfuscator which will be used in some threads, but not all threads.)

Hi I have these installed
Product : Force Users to Read a Thread <-not active
Product : vB Ad Management
Product : Footer Links
Product : Form Hack
Product : Forum Splash Warning Page
Product : Limited Guest Viewing
Product : User age Based Permissions
Product : passiveVid
Product : Welcome Headers
Product : Zoints Thread Tags
I don't think any of these are for any particular thread except the welcome headers ask you to post in this particular topic....as this topic I am discussing is my "welcome introduce yourself" topic. But nothing forced or anything like that

Does it also say that time if you click to view only the post? (click the little post number in the upper right corner - like in yours I'm responding to #4 (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1543918&postcount=4) )

I'm stumped. None of those hacks look like they would have anything to do with modifying the post time. Were you saying that the Welcome Headers have something to do with this one thread (sorry, I'm not familiar with that hack)? Or does that hack just give a link to the thread?
Also, have you checked the post database to see if the postids are in order or out of order? And what the time stamp is in the database?

Possibly a temporary problem where your server time jumped into the future then was fixed but while it was ahead any posts will have been posted in the future. Now the time has caught up it will be fine. I suggest you contact your host to find out if there have been any issues with the server time recently.
