Yes, that is a non-standard port to what maybe your server. I would post in this forum 'Server Configuration (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14)', but read the stickies first.

Port 25 is the standard port for a SMTP connection. Check with the provider of your SMTP service and make sure that is the correct port to use though. It can easily be changed on the server level.

If Port 25 is correct then please enable phpinfo in the Admin CP, then provide the URL to your forums. This may help us troubleshoot this problem.

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Server Settings and Optimization Options -> Public phpinfo() Display Enabled

Set this option to yes to use an SMTP server rather than the internal PHP mail() function.

i can sed and recieve emails except to yahoo and the hotmail.

and that was the same thing on my server ..

it send and recieve emails to all except to yahoo and hotmail.

now i belive that the problem is in some settings in the server and working on it
