Will be upgrading to 3.7 when it goes gold. Is it possible to set the Navbar notices to display once per session? I ask because the kind of notices put to encourage people to post can get irritating if displayed every time.
TIA.

Sorry, there is no function to do this. This requires modifying the code. We cannot officially support code modifications or forums running modified code, however you can try searching or asking for help with this over at www.vbulletin.org.

Steve, thanks. I haven't had a look at 3.7 yet so I'm guessing at the options available for notices. But may I suggest that notices will get annoying if they are displayed on every page, and that having them once per session is pretty much essential functionality?

Over 1,500 vBulletin owners have installed this mod (http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99579) which is made obsolete by the notices functionality. Having used the mod for over a year, I can say with absolute certainty that people will complain if they see the same message over and over. Which is exactly why the above mod has them restricted to once per session. So my suggestion above is based on experience.

Notices can be shown once per session by changing their Persistant setting to No
