I am currently with http://www.liquidweb.com. I have the largest package which is very cheap, 24.95 per month. I get unlimited mysql databases.
The greatest part about it is that they are one of the distributers of Cpanel, which is one of the best web hosting panels in production.
If you are considering a host for your vb, consider liquidweb.

Liquid web would only support ~15 concurrent users with my vB. I would not reccomend them for an active forum.

*nod* maybe it was the server i was on (godzilla), i once counted over 120 sites on this little server, a PII 400 w/ 256meg of ram. My forums would max out at 15 - 18 concurrent users, but this was back in the 1.13 days, v2 may be better in this regaurd.

You can edit cpanel's style to have just text links via WHM IIRC.

cPanel is made to be user friendly, if you dont need that then try SSH ;)
Most control panels are GUI based instead of command link or text link.
Ensim has more text links than a GUI but its still GUI based.
cPanel is one of the best control panels available on the market....
I havent used that host but I havent heard of many hosts using a p II 400 for commercial hosting...
Thats far too low to have a number of active sites on it like a community forum

Hi, in the last year we've moved into our own datacenter, which we own and operate 100%. In the process of moving, we have upgraded all of our servers. The current setup machines have dual xeon processors with at least 1GB or ram and SCSI hard drives. We have many happy customers that run very active forums succesfully. I can give you examples upon request.
Feel free to contact me at jhill (a@t) liquidweb.com with any questions.
Thanks!
