Posting icons

I would like to see it automatically select a default posting icon to use, so if the poster does not select one it will automatically use one to fill up the forumdisplay column that it uses.

Does that make sense?:)

I would be really unhappy if the board automatically set an icon. I don't want to alllow icons on our board, we don't with the UBB and if we switch to VB, we won't.

Ok, we might allow it, but certainly want to have the choice.

I'll have a think about how to offer an option for selecting a default icon.

Evoir: The use of posting icons is completely optional.

John I would really like the option, if Message Icons are enabled, to force a default icon and remove the "No icon". The first icon in $iconbits is fine, the one that looks like a piece of paper.
