I would like to know, does anybody have the code for getting the welcome box showing on a forum if you are a guest. I like what freeforums did and would like to have that setup on my forum too. It's the welcome guest and inviting them to join the forum with reasons to join. Here's a pic of what I'm talking about:

There is a default built in under the phrase of first_visit_message. It will be shown to all guests on a vBulletin.com powered site.

Where do I find "first_visit_message"? What template?

It is a phrase. You will have to use the "Search In Phrases" functionality. Enter in "first_visit_message" and tell it to look at the Phrase Variable Name. Then click search.
