No. of Posts before Blog Permissions

Is it possible to have a user have a number of posts before he/she can create a blog...

I want my members (newbies) to have at least 200 posts before they can create a blog is this possible?

yes, use forum promotion permissions and promote on 200 posts to a usergroup with blog permissions.

With the default vB, yes that is the only option.
