I have played with this a bit but what is the recommended session timeout setting?

I forgot what the default was.

Does this have any effect on CP usage if it is elevated?

900 is vBulletin default install settings

No, not really does nothing. You have to be active, then you will see slight spike.

Well I have mine set at 2500 to keep users on but I think i better drop that a bit.
