This one has got me stumped. I have a Test Forum identical setup and the "Blog" navbar item points and takes me to http://www.mycockpit.org/forumtest/blog.php it works.

BUT...

My LIVE forum "Blog" navbar, although I see it point to http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/blog.php it takes me to http://ww.mycockpit.org/

I've tried installing and reinstalling, but could not get it to work right. It's got to be something simple I'm missing, somewhere pointing to the root dir.

Please advise me?

Thanks,

Zachery

Your cookies are corrupted by a third party addon adding similiar items to the cookie, clear your cookies and try again.

Thanks, I appreciate your response. I wish that was it, but unfortunately that didn't do it.
Please go and see for yourself http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/

Any other recommendations, Please??

Thanks,

Just learned something new regarding redirecting to the root directory, which is http://www.mycockpit.org which is also my vbAdvanced cmps v3 (Home page). The blog page is at the bottom of my home page. Now I'm totally lost....

Again, any recommendations are really very much appreciated :)

It is a problem with your third party software interferaing with the default software.

Zachery, that makes perfect sense, and I agreed. BUT :)

I copied my database to my test forum, running identical to the live forum, including the "Blog" problem.

Uninstalled all plugins, removed any files or tables from the database that was not necessary, including "Blog"

Reinstalled Blog, and still have the same problem.

At this point I reinstalled my test forum to my previous (old) test database and reinstalled all of my plug ins. Except for an updated database, the live and test forum are identical. Except the Blog in the live, does as described as above, and the blog in the test, works as it's supposed to.

Somewhere, some template is routing it to ./mycockpit.org

I've been looking for days, and can't find it.

PLEASE, any hints where to look, and correct the issue????? :) :)

I've tried it all, I think, but still have the same problem. Don't forget, I've got the identical site running with an older database, but all same plugins/mods, and all works fine.

Zachery, you say cookies, I don't know how to fix cookies.... Where do I go to fix or check the cookies. Again, any direction would be VERY MUCH appreciated, I just don't know what else to do.

I wanted to add, or at least tell me where I can go for help, rather then removing the "Blog" portion of VB.
