I'm trying to determine if the blog software will be useful for my needs to highlight Vendors that support my forums and will give them a better voice within the forums.
There are two things I'm looking to do with the blog software,
When setting up a blog for a user, I would like to have their full contact information (address, phone number, email, etc., ) listed under their blog profile in the left hand column.
Right now, I just see their avatar, join date, etc.
Is this possible?
Second, I'd like to list all bloggers on the front of the blog page rather than having the user click on the number in the left hand column under Blog Statistics. Is this possible?

I dont think so, for some crazy reason you can't use custom profile fields in the blog templates.

Can the blog work for you?
Anything is possible with vb:)
Though not perfected, here are some ideas to get your thoughts pondering on how it might work:

You could have a category in each blog for contact info and post an entry with contact info in it for each blog. However, their contact info is also present in their profiles which is accessible from the blogs too.
The way I handle businesses is with Photopost Reviews. I've edited the english language to reflect business instead of reviews. Works like a charm and you can also implement it's zip code database so peopes can search the distance to a business by zip code.
Second, I'd like to list all bloggers on the front of the blog page rather than having the user click on the number in the left hand column under Blog Statistics. Is this possible?
You can probably request a hack from vbulletin.org for this or edit the blog templates and hard code that information in place. Or, if possible, edit the phrase or template code to words instead of numbers...but that would be hardcoded as well and only link to the list.
Or, you could add a link to the blog list of users in your navbar and delete the other blog link. That way people clicking it will automatically get a list of bloggers instead of the blog frontpage.
There are always possibilities...you just need to play around until you get it to how you want it.
