View Full Version : Categories can't be deleted

Trying to delete a category (or sub-). I tick the box and click the button to the right (there is , as in all delete buttons in the forums).

It takes me to the Edit Categories menu, and the category is still there.

I can't duplicate that problem. Which version of vB and Blog are you running and have you modified your templates?

3.6.8 PL2 with 1.0.4

I just tried this with 3.6.8 PL2 and Blog 1.0.4 and had no problems deleting a category. Do you have any other add-ons installed?

Maybe you should close down vbulletin.org, since it causes all evil in vbulletin's software?

I know. This can be a bit frustrating. But try and disable all AddOns beside the Blog and try it again.

I have a better idea. :)A 'better' idea can only mean that you are going to integrate a number of the functionalities developed by independent third parties, mostly at vb.org, and which make vbulletin an attractive system, in the official vb.com release.

Otherwise you probably mean that you have 'another' idea.
I know. This can be a bit frustrating. But try and disable all AddOns beside the Blog and try it again.It is frustrating, yes.
