Is there any idea about free FTP solution?

I am a newbie and desire to know more and more about Free FTP solution and its providers. I am working in a software company and I am in the need of high quality and most efficient SFTP?

Freesteyelz, xjuliox 'SSH File Transfer Protocol' SFTP and SmartFTP will not have that feature until version 3.

Interface doesn't mean anything when your password is transmitted all around the world in plaintext format.

I can't understand why hosting companies force people to use SSH instead of Telnet and still allow people to use FTP instead of requiring SFTP. FTP is as secure as Telnet is.

I have CuteFTP Pro, WS_FTP Pro and a few others. I'm going to check out GoFTP, though. :)

Aboslutely recommend u to try Vandyke Secure FX (http://www.vandyke.com/products/securefx/), but it's not free, also u should try Winscp (http://winscp.net/) (open source freeware). is this helps? :)

Secure FX is a good program. It is however a little unstable under Windows Vista. I am hoping the new version irons out the wrinkles so that it is more stable. WinSCP is a good alternative though.

I like the interface of WinSCP. I haven't tried that one yet but I will today. :)
