So I am getting close to having my site up and running but I would like to finish the site with VBulletin installed. Currently I am doing all of my testing using XAMPP. My question is, can I go through the VBulletin install process so that I can continue testing my site with XAMPP before I upload? I was about to start the install and then I got worried that if I installed VBulletin, I would not be able to install the program once I begin to upload all of my files. Thanks for any advice or help.

What do you mean? You can still have vBulletin installed on your localhost and then installed it on your server. The new installation won't effect what you have on your computer at all.

Once I go through the install process and configure it as I want to match my site, can I just upload all of the files to my hosting server? Or, do I have to go through the install again?

You have to actually install vBulletin onto your server.

Sorry for the lack of information. I wanted to test it on my server using XAMPP and once I get it to look they way I want, I will be uploading it to GoDaddy.

Oh. You need to either export the database from your localhost and then import it to your sever (through phpMyAdmin for example), upload your files, and then update config.php to point to the correct database and use the correct information to access it. You don't have to install it again if you just want to transfer what you have on your localhost to your server.

Is that what you mean?

Yes. That sounds about right. Once I am all done I will just transfer all of my files to Go Daddy. Thanks for your help.:D
