The Date is option. How does this work. Can't get it to show up.

You must select the checkbox next to it, and then enter the day you want it to appear (dd-mm-yyyy).
What are you putting in? Did you check the rest of the options to see if there was any clashes or conditionals that might be conflicting with your ability to see it?

Ok this is where I'm lost. Do you have to enter each members birth date for Birthday option? Add a date for everytime the member reaches a certain amount of post, etc.
I really like to have a full detail of how it works. I understand the post count and others with two options. Reputation, Infractions. The others I don't.
I was thinking this was an automatic notice system. But the way it looks this is just a option to send single notices without PM or email. You have to do them one at a time.

For the birthday options, you just select it; it'll automatically show for that user's birthday.
Most of them are automatic, but some happen only once or so depending on how you set up the conditionals. You can select on or more options. You don't have to select more than one or all of them (in fact, doing so might create a condition that might never happen).
What are you trying to do?

First I'll start with the date thing. I was thinking of showing date in the notice message box for everyday.
The date is (dd-mm-yyyy) Thinking this would be automatic.
Next the Birthday thing.User's birthday is today.
In the place for HTML I wrote Happy Birthday. This message shows up even though I don't have a birthday.
Since were talking about Birthdays, what is the message that appears in the Birthday notice. Just their birth date or is there something else?
Most of this I think I have firgured out.

You can't do ranged dates; ask this in the suggestions forum (if someone else already hasn't). I agree that this should be a feature. :)
If you want the message to appear on someone's birthday, then all you select is the User's birthday is today option; that's all. In the Notice HTML box, you just enter whatever you want to appear to those users.
Does that help?

Yes that helps.
One question. Will the notice box always be there even if there isn't a notice. Or is it a pop up when the event occured?

The box only appears when the condition is met; otherwise nothing shows up.

Where do you see that?

It is the last option in the add notices. Each time you add a notice it shows up in the drop down box at the bottom of add notices box. .

Oh that. What you copied confused me. :p It only shows the notice if the notice you select in the drop down menu isn't there already.
For example, you make a notice only show when your users are viewing a certain forum. You make a new notice, and then select it to show only when the notice you select (in this case, the first one) isn't there. In other words, for every page BUT the one that the first notice is made for, your second notice will appear.
