Is that possible, like the way new servers will transfer all the data from the old server, for a fee?

I'm running 3.6.0 at the moment.

You can order the Professional Upgrade service from the Members Area. Just click on the 'Upgrade/Renew License' link under License Options and choose the 'Upgrade'. The cost is $135.

Once you purchase the upgrade service you will receive an email with a link to the installation form where you input the server details.

- FTP server, username and password
- MySQL server, username, password and database name
- URL of homepage and forums
- Forum Admin login info

Once that form is filled out correctly, the upgrade is assigned to one of our Techs and is usually completed within 1-2 business days (not including weekends.)

Upgrading will always overwrite any hacks or changes you made to the vB files. However it will not change any plug-in or product add-ons, although you may have to ask the authors of these add-ons if they are compatible with the latest version of vB.

Also upgrading will not overwrite custom templates. Nonetheless you may have to revert your custom templates and redo your changes depending on the template and the version you are upgrading from.

I've already ordered the upgrade, so is that $135-$85?

Also, will any of the threads, posts or attachments be affected? Of course no, correct?

Thanks.

The upgrade service is $135. If you ordered it, then you need to fill out the upgrade worksheet n the Members Area.

Thanks! And will the threads/attachments be untouched?

I know I can order a new install and configure service from vB, but what I need to know is this.

What Apache, Centos, MySQL, PhP and xCache is required/recommended for the latest 3.6.8 sp2? I'm moving up from 3.5.0

And once I set up the new SERVER (8 x INTEL XEONs, 8gb RAM, 8x 15,000rpm SCSI running raid10), I want a fresh vB 3.6.2 sp2 install, AND I need someone to move all the standard DB data over from the old DB to the new? Can I pay for this service seperately as well?

I don't believe that there is an official "migration" service available. Your best bet, assuming you can't do it yourself, would be to post in the "help wanted" section on vbulletin.org.
