THIS IS NOT MY FAULT!!!

I have been running our in-house knowledge base for the past two years on a linux server of my own. Just two months ago I convinced the "guys that pay the bills" to go from phpbb to vbulletin and so far everyone loves it!

The company is going through some restructuring and brought in a IT consultant that doesn't know his arse from his elbow and blew some smoke up the bosses rear-end saying that my linux box is a security risk to the local network and has to go.

I like my job too much to fight this guy and tell him how much of a piece of shiite he really is, so I am going to attempt to migrate everything to windows box.

Has anyone done this? Has anyone had great (or any!!) success doing it? What kind of troubles can I expect to run into, and how long can I expect this conversion to take? Any and all help is appreciated!! Years ago (4+) I tried to get apache compiled on a XP-Pro machine without any luck.... I am looking forward to this conversion, as much as I am to see belechick hoist the Lombardi trophy again....

On a side note... This make-shift IT guy was so impressed by my Smoothwall firewall/vpn/content filter I setup, he asked me to set one up for him to play with. He loved it..... until I told him it was based on a Linux OS kernel!!!

PS -- GO PACKERS!!!

Once you have got the new server set up with php mysql and apache or IIS then you simply need to follow the server move instructions found here:
