Installation of VBlog

Scenerio: Installed Vbulletin 3.6.8 - patch 2 in November - want to install VBlog now looked at installation instructions want to verify that I am suppose to overwrite the directories and files under /forums with the directories and files from the the upload directory of the vblog zip don't want to step on anything essential to Vbulletin.

There aren't any files in the Blog package that will overwrite any files in vBulletin. So, no need to choose overwrite unless you are upgrading from a previous version. However, I always choose overwrite, just in case.

It won't overwrite any vBulletin file (it won't be a smart move to release an official plugin that breaks your main product :p). Tho, your ftp program may ask you to overwrite folders, because some of them already exist. It's okay, it will just write the new files in the given folders without touching the old ones (unless, by chance, you uploaded some non-standard with the same name in the same folder... which is unlikely).
