Before I buy:Can vB do the following for me:

After looking at vbulletin for about 4hrs -_- i've decided i want to purchase it.
However I want to clarify somethings first:
Searching vB i notice there is Vbadvanced but i dont like it.
I want to be able to create a main page that can call "top posters" "new topics" "news" and having to type news on the main page where users can comment. Also for the main page there would be, menu options such as "Main, Forum, Gallery, Arcade, Chat" from the vB forum. Is that possible?
Is there templates or guides to such a thing or must i start from scratch if so how?

There may be more questions to come.
Just gotta clarify somethings before my purchase =).

vB does not include a separate home page. You can either create your own, or use one of the 'portals' which are add-ons that can do this. However these are third-party add-ons that we do not provide or support. You can check the Premium Modifications forums at www.vbulletin.org (http://www.vbulletin.org) for information about these.
