Image Verification Missing

My image verification box is not showing anything. How do I fix this?

Has it ever worked?

What has been done recently?

Do you see a box, broken image, or anything that indicates that image verification is turned on?

I get the image box but the letters or numbers do not appear. I am using 3.7 beta 3

Check the option under admincp > vBulletin Options > Human Verification Manager > Image Verification Library

What is it set to? GD or Imagemagick 6

Try a different setting than what it is currently using and see if it appears.

Its set to GD at the moment.

This feature requires that either your PHP be installed with full GD support or that your server is running ImageMagick version 6 or higher and you are using the correct path to this in the Image Settings. If neither one of these is installed correctly, then you will not be able to use the Image Varification function.

Check to make sure your PHP is compiled with GD or that your server has ImageMagick installed and configured:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> Image Settings

If these are installed you will see images for them. If there are no images there, these are either not installed or you have the wrong path for IM.

I have three boards running on one server.
Two are 3.6.8 and all is fine with Image Verification.
The board running 3.7.0 beta 4 has the problem soletrader has.
Here's a screen shot of the image settings I have for each.

and the image doesn't appear.

I have the same issue. The Human Verification is missing during registration, in both Image Verification and Question and Answer. For Image Verification, the string shows in Admin but the Human Verification section seems to be missing during new user registration. :(

I found the issue, different variable for version 3.7 I believe.

In your custom template, check under Registration templates > register

Do a search for $imagereg

Add $human_verify below it

This will make your template compatible with both older and newer versions of vB.

I just installed Beta 5 and am having the exact same problem. VB team, why is this happening?

Assuming your vB settings are correct, this is a server issue. Please start your own thread with all the relevant info.

I just spoke to my host company and they said that:
