Maybe I am just stupid.... I have looked around at vBulletin to find out how to make use of the Social Networking stuff. However, I can't seem to find anything that lets me know where to start.
yes, I can see in the usercp that there are the options of: social groups, pictures and albums, contacts and friends, and all that jazz.. However, is that it? Or is there something I can do to make this MORE than just simple usercp stuff?
Any docs out there to help me?
Thanks a ton guys!

I'm understanding a little more, I think... although I have to find it by chance since I cannot find documentation about it.
By creating social groups I can have friends and such. There are some nice features there although I will have to make them more apparent, myself, to the forums.
I would also like to know what tables were updates for the social network so that I can write my own Social Feature to vB to make it more apparent to the user that there are some social aspects to the website now.
Any help?
Thanks again!

The vB staff has promised that once the 3.7 product goes gold, they will work on providing documentation as to the template and sql changes. Right now, that may change in between beta versions. Until the gold version is completed, they have pledged to concentrate their efforts on a bug free stable release of the core product.
Have you looked in the sql database to try and discover the changes?

As is always the case with new releases, particularly in Beta stage, there is no documentation due to the changing nature of the software.

Makes sense. Thanks guys. Yes, I have looked into the database and already created some code to bring information onto my homepage (new groups, users & pictures, etc..
Thanks again, I'll just go with what I am finding.

On the admin side, each new feature should have 1) its own options under vBulletin Options or 2) Its own section in the left-hand navigation frame. You should explore these options and settings. There should be inline help where needed and options always have descriptions. There are also usergroup permissions and moderator permissions to control the features so you should review these as well.
On the user side, your User CP and Profile are the central hubs for these features. Examine these areas and you will learn more about the features from the user standpoint.
