Hi,
Our host has suspended our account and is asking if we are running the latest vbulletin...
By accident I upgraded to 3.7.0 beta :(
Is there a way we can go back to the stable version?
We were suspended for high cpu/memory usage, would this be likely on a beta version if we had no plugins running ?
At the moment we have no site :(

You cannot downgrade short of restoring a backup.

Is your provider sure the cause is 3.7? I been running it since it came out and consistently check my server load averages and they appear to be the same for when I had 3.6.8 installed.
EDIT: I just checked my 3.6.8 forum (it is under testvb so I could check 3.7 live), and the server load averages for both is pretty much the same.

They are saying the plugins are unstable, even with the plugins disabled they say the load shoots up,we are a very busy forum
Its a semi dedicated server we are on at wirenine

How many users-threads-posts do you have? I have a very large forum and before running it 'live' I'd like to know what other large forums are seeing.

Two different forums on the same server will report the same load average in the Admin CP regardless of version. The load average is for the entire server, not the portion that you are using.

Oops, yip you are right, :o Though I'll still stick to my original statement, my server averages were/are about the same before and after upgrade. If 3.7 is causing a significant increase in server load (enough for the host to suspend an account), it should be enough to be felt across the server.

We got unsuspended this morning and ran a watered down version of our website. No guest access and more. Server load was under 1 all day (we're uk based, its 17:45 at present). Suddenly the load increased, i was using ftp at the time editing files and downloading some. Stalled, tried to get Cpanel, wouldn't load. Our site has been offline for the last hour or so with Database error's, not caused by us. Our reporting system has failed to email the cause to us.
So suspended AGAIN, no proof we caused load spike and now being told we wont be activated again and they would supply a backup for us to use (probably in a day or so!).
And.....all accounts on my reseller account on a seperate wirenine server have stopped working. I actually only host one very small several page website on this and have been overpaying for some time (I really dont need reseller). Checked the server is online via it's IP, just my sites unaccessible. Logged a ticket some hours ago, no response. Another shocking coincidence perhaps!

Your hosting provider should have process logs that they can provide you. This will tell you what is causing the load spikes.
