Profile message posting not acting right....

I know I saw this question around here somewhere but can't find it now.

When a member posts a message on a friends' profile, rather than the message appearing right away as it should, it goes through the whole "Thank you for posting. You will now be taken to your message" thing. But on the second message, same profile, the next message appears immediately. This happens on every profile when posting on it for the first time.

Is this normal?

I believe they said it was working as intended.

As in, the first post will do that, but the posts after it willnot. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember one of the vB teams saying that its normal.

thanks cc. I did try it on every members' profile and it worked that way on my first message, but appeared immediately on all subsequent messages.

I guess you could call the first action a "welcome to this profile" lol ;)
