View Full Version : Nothing Displaying, No Admin Access Either

Today, I upgraded from 3.6.8 to 3.7.0 beta 3 without any problems whatsoever. I was working on reverting stylesheets, etc. for over an hour for our only style. At the time of my problem, I was experimenting with various widths for the main forum page.

As soon as I saved the last width change, nothing could be displayed anymore in the browser. I just get a white screen and if I look at the webpage source from the browser, there is nothing there (not even 1 byte of information) at all. Same for the admin area or anywhere on the entire site.

Any ideas what to look at to solve the problem?

Thanks. - Rik

restore from the backup you did right before the upgrade and start over... if you didn't do this backup then you just learned the first lesson... :lol

R1lover:

Thanks for the suggestion. Luckily, I found the problem and it didn't have anything at all to do with vBulletin. It just happened to occur when I was working on vBulletin.

After writing my initial message, I found that NOTHING on the site using PHP was working and that's why pages were not being displayed (didn't notice it on the home page since there is no PHP there).

After rebooting the server, everything is working fine. Now, I just need to find out why PHP could possibly go down on a server so I don't have the same problem happen again.

Thanks. -- Rik
