View Full Version : SMF 1.1.4 -> VB 3.6.8 - Users missing (sort of)

Hello all,

I have just run a few test updates from SMF 1.1.4 to VB 3.6.8 using Impex.

Everything seems to have come across successfully, forum structure, topics, post, user details etc.

However there seems to be an odd problem with the users, if I look at the member list there is nobody in it (apart from the admin account I created). If I list all users in the admin panel then all user accounts are present.

Anybody got any clues??

There are two options you need to check to set whether or not members are viewable on memberlist:

1. By usergroup:

Admin CP -> Usergroups -> Usergroup Manager -> Edit -> Usergroup Options -> Viewable on the Memberlist -> Yes

2. By post count:

Admin CP -> vBulletin Options -> User Listing & Profile Viewing -> Minimum Posts

Hi,

After checking your first suggestion it seems that all users had been placed into an "Imported Users" group which was not set to be visible on the members list.

However this has no highlighted another issues, every option in the "Imported Users" list is set to "no", disabled, 0 etc. i.e. no access to anything.

Is there anyway to quickly move all users to the "registered users" group?

To do this just delete the imported usergroups as per the
Also please view the 'After the Import' instructions here:
