View Full Version : I have a major issue

This morning I installed/upgraded to VB 3.7 and everything went smooth.

Right before the upgrade I did a back-up from admincp and saved the file to my computer (vbulletin.sql).

All was working well when one of my moderators accidentally mass moved all threads on the entire forum into one place. I have thousands of threads and dozens of forum categories so this is a real mess. Is there any kinda "undo"?

Will I need to restore that .sql back-up file? If so how can I do that?

I tried this but everything is still the same:

Please help

Thanks

Restore your backup then run install/upgrade.php again

I followed the restore directions... Did I do this right?

-From phpmyadmin selected my forum database
-clicked on SQL tab
-browsed to my vbulletin.sql backup
-clicked go
-the progress bar moved along than said done. the screen went white and i got no conformations or anything.

-I than re-ran my update.php with success

-My threads are still all in one place.

If the screen when white then it timed out. You will need to use SSH or ask your host to restore your backup.

Ahh yes, it seems my backup file is too big for phpmyadmin

Thanks
